In The Schools
 Nearly 5,000 students representing districts throughout California sent in panels expressing “Why the Constitution is important to me.†At least 1,200 panels are on display at the State Capitol. The remainder of the panels will be on public display in other locations around the state. The California Campaign thanks their teachers for participating in this statewide Constitution & Citizenship Day project. Every year, almost 2 million young people in the United States fall victim to violent crimes at school.
